Founder & President
Derek is the founder of Potomac Made and holds the founder's seat on its board. He is a maker and the co-founder of Escape Design Collective, an artisan studio in Potomac Shores.

Conflicts of interest. Every director and officer discloses outside interests each year and recuses when those interests touch a decision. That includes the founder's for-profit studio, Escape Design Collective, which is separate from Potomac Made and receives no portion of any gift.
